Nancy Foster Retires After 18 Years of Outstanding Service
On September 14, 2012, Nancy Foster officially retired. It was a day of mixed emotions for all the employees at Baldwin Gilman. The team is sad to see Nancy go, but we are excited as she takes time off to enjoy life and to determine how her passion for small business will ignite her entrepreneurial spirit and take her to the next level of career success! Nancy's executive recruiting career at Baldwin Gilman spanned 18 years. With over 25 years in the recruiting industry and eight additional years in human resources for corporations, Nancy was well qualified and very successful at helping our clients achieve hiring success. A luncheon was held on September 13th to honor Nancy's achievements and time at Baldwin Gilman. Mr. Keith Baldwin, founding partner, attended the event and shared a few stories about their relationship and her contributions over the years! And, current Owner and CEO, Tom Gilman also spoke to Nancy's contributions and role in the firm, stating, "Nancy was a dedicated contributor that you could always count on. We are sad to see her go, but we wish her happiness and much success with her future endeavors and will be here to help her in any way." Nancy's clients were devoted to her and trusted her ability to seek to find the right candidates that would match their needs, from human resource leaders to call center managers. During one four-year period, she helped one of her client's hire over 60 upper-management professionals nationwide; an accomplishment not attained by many in our industry! Additionally, an international nonprofit recently hired Nancy to perform a search for their executive director. The organization sought Nancy out to perform their nationwide search and was ecstatic when she successfully filled the position.
