Meet Our Team: Jenny Caccimelio
Jenny Caccimelio, Executive Recruiter
HOW MANY YEARS HAVE YOU WORKED AT GILMAN PARTNERS?
It will be two years in January.
WHAT BROUGHT YOU TO GILMAN PARTNERS?
I have been in Human Resources for my entire career, primarily as a business partner focusing on all aspects of HR. Hiring and retaining top talent has always been a critical part of my roles and I truly enjoy building relationships with business leaders and employees. Joining Gilman Partners gave me the opportunity to continue that focus with external clients and candidates.
IN WHICH AREAS OF RECRUITING DO YOU SPECIALIZE?
Operations and manufacturing roles, human resources, sales, technical fields, and administrative
IF YOU COULD GIVE ONE PIECE OF ADVICE TO COMPANIES LOOKING TO HIRE, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
Today’s job market is tight and candidates have many choices. You have to remember to sell candidates on your company and the opportunity in addition to evaluating their qualifications for the job.
WHAT ABOUT ADVICE FOR TODAY’S JOB SEEKERS?
Keep your LinkedIn profile current and professional and always remember to double check your resume and all correspondence for accuracy. It sounds pretty basic, but opportunities have been lost by those negative impressions.
WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES?
I love spending time with friends and family and cooking for them!
WHICH RECIPE OR TYPE OF FOOD IS YOUR FAVORITE TO COOK?
My colleagues often comment on my very colorful and elaborate salads that I bring for lunch and I like to experiment in the kitchen and try new recipes. I enjoy creating new recipes with existing items on hand and with various spices, so it’s always a little different each time.
IF YOU COULD TRAVEL ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, WHERE WOULD IT BE AND WHY?
I hope to visit Wine Country and would also love to spend time in Hawaii. Someday….
