General Manager, Midwest

Location:   Kansas City

Salary:   Based on experience. Base Salary + variable compensation

The General Manager will be responsible for the multiple facets of day to day operations of the Midwest Operations located in Kansas City.  This includes but not limited to: safety, fabrication, administration, pre-construction and estimating, sales, quality, strategic planning and financial reporting/tracking. 



  • Ensure operations personnel are performing in accordance with Enerfab’s safety and quality expectations
  • Help develop and manage the regional office budget, including: sales, personnel, travel, capital expenditures and line item costs
  • Analyze data and trends to evaluate regional actual performance as compared to budget
  • Implement changes in the operations to ensure alignment with the budget
  • Participate in ongoing strategic planning to drive diversification and growth in the Midwest Region
  • Instill adherence and discipline in the protocols and procedures established by the regional office and corporate
  • Drive for project execution and improvement. Review and analyze applicable operating metrics, evaluate variances with project managers and establish appropriate action plans for improvement.




  • Bachelor’s degree with a preference of Operations, Construction Management or Engineering
  • 5+ years industry experience in project management, ops management, estimating or engineering in Industrial or Utility markets
  • Technical competencies in reading drawings, job estimations and project management
  • Financial acumen to understand basic accounting and financial statements including analyzing project progression as it relates to financial risk
  • Proven success in driving and maintaining a culture of safety
  • Ability to identify areas in need of improvement and drive change when necessary
  • Proven leadership, mentorship, people development and team building skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% 


  • Advanced degree a plus (e.g. MBA, Construction Management, Engineering)
