CLIENT SUMMARY:

Jedson Engineering is a growing EPCM company headquartered in Cincinnati for over 30 years.  They provide full-service engineering, procurement and construction management services to industrial process manufacturers that operate in pharmaceutical, pulp & paper, chemical, consumer product and food & beverage markets across the nation.

 

JOB SUMMARY:  

We have been retained to fill multiple Process Engineering positions for Jedson, each of which will be located in Cincinnati and provide technical leadership within cross-functional teams to deliver initiatives and department projects.  We’re looking specific technical expertise in any of the following areas: Chemicals, Alcohol/Spirits, Food & Beverage, Pet Food, CPG (focus on fabric & home care or personal care), or Food/Blending.

 

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES FOR EACH POSITION:

  • Assist the project team in performing engineering calculations, generating drawings, and other technical duties
  • Research and analyze data for customer design proposals requests, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design and application
  • Contact vendors and obtain technical information and cost data
  • Carry out design calculations as directed by Project/Lead Engineers
  • Review PFDs, P&IDs and vendor drawings as assigned and mark or make corrections
  • Evaluate field installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate systems malfunctions
  • Create or modify equipment specifications
  • Generate instrument process data and perform unit operations calculations
  • Investigate and utilize applicable codes and standards

 

IDEAL CANDIDATES’ QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • BS Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
  • 5 – 10+ Years of experience required within applicable industries based on the requirements for each position
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Well organized and able to meet deadlines
  • Ability to participate in the planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating detailed phases of engineering projects
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills
