Our client is a multi-billion-dollar Family Office in the Kenwood area. They serve a large family with their wealth management, accounting, and personal needs.

JOB SUMMARY:  

The Accounting Specialist is an additional role because of growth of the organization. This person will participate in the assistance of family members accounting, billing, and accounts payable needs. They will also be asked, on occasion, to act as a “concierge” and an overall trusted participant in other domestic services.

 

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for Accounts Payable for the family members personal affairs. This includes bill payment, vendor reporting, account resolution and problem solving and working with back contacts to assist with account administration.
  • Accounting responsibilities will also include preparation of entity and consolidating financial statements, account reconciliations and preparation and obtaining authorizations.
  • Concierge/Client Management responsibilities could include preparation of client reports including board presentation materials, working with insurance, preparation of Inter-family account billings and domestic services.
  • Our client is a small, collaborative office (20 employees) that needs all members to pitch in and work on special projects on a regular basis.

 

 IDEAL CANDIDATES’ QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Associates or bachelor’s degree is preferred. Accounting degree a plus
  • Experience using general ledger accounting software
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of accounting experience including accounts payable
  • The right person will be an honest, strong communicator, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be a team player and able to multi-task with a positive “can-do” attitude.
  • Microsoft Office experience including advanced Excel experience
  • Banking, Investment, Trust Department or Family Office Experience would be a plus.
  • SEI Archway/AT Web GL Software Experience a plus
  • A notary license would be a plus

 

OTHER:

  • This is an “in-office” position. Our client has a beautiful office environment with a strong team that collaborates on a regular basis. Work from home is not an option at this time.
