KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (JOB SUMMARY)

 

The Sr. Manager, Marketing is responsible for the development and execution of demand generation campaigns, live events and sales enablement materials. Specific responsibilities include developing and implementing integrated, multi-channel campaigns including live, digital, print and sales enablement programs and tactics. Additional responsibilities include managing external agencies and internal resources. Demonstrated ability to leverage the power of digital technologies in demand creation is essential.

 

 Essential Functions

 

  • Work closely with SVP of Marketing on global product marketing strategy, planning and budgeting.
  • Work with product management and sales leaders to shape campaign themes for a year-long timeframe
  • Interface with sales to determine sales enablement needs, and work with product marketing to develop tools, training and promotional communication assets
  • Forecast, measure, analyze and report on impact of programs
  • Research, choose, design and manage live events to be included as tactics in the overall marketing mix, ensure there is a cohesive pre-event, at- and post event strategy to increase engagement and response rates
  • Evaluate and manage vendors that contribute to demand creation programs including event venues and services, marketing agencies, direct mail providers, SEO experts, designers, and copywriters.
  • Communicate and educate the sales team regarding new and planned marketing activities including global, regional and local programs
  • Implement testing methodologies to enhance the demand creation process, including response and conversion rates and multivariate testing
  • Assist in the evaluation, selection and management of outside vendors that contribute to demand creation programs including juggling multiple projects in a dynamic, high-pressure environment
  • Manage and adhere to budget
  • Responsible for planning, organizing and executing programs that generate new prospects and advance existing opportunities for the sales team.

 

 

IDEAL CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

 

  • BA/BS in Marketing, MBA a plus
  • 8+ years in a B2B professional services marketing in a technical area
  • Organized and detail oriented, analytical
  • Superior interpersonal skills
