JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Vice President of Partnerships & Engagement, the Director of Finance & Operations is responsible for preparing and tracking the organization’s budgets and providing analysis and recommendations to the senior leadership team. They will provide reports to the Executive Committee and other key stakeholders and manage the shared services agreement for IT, HR, Accounting, Benefits and Payroll.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Analyze, interpret, and communicate financial operating results to provide guidance to senior leadership
- Prepare annual budgets and lead semi-annual budget reviews
- Create Executive Committee financial reports
- Review and approve monthly financial reports for shared services
- Administer the REDI Site Revolving Loan Program
- Support the Investor Relations invoicing activity and manage the processing and tracking of all payables and receivables
- Meet monthly with each team lead to review budgets and discuss variances
- Provide input to the annual salary review and bonus decisions
- Provide offer letters, onboarding support, payroll review, employee handbook updating and other HR related needs
- Support and lead other special projects as required
IDEAL CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years’ experience leading the budgeting, financial planning, and reporting responsibilities for a service-based organization
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field
- Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with all stakeholders as well as co-workers throughout the organization
- Ability to prioritize your own wide-ranging workload and work independently
- Experience translating financial information into understandable terms for all recipients
- Experience presenting financial information to a volunteer Board a plus
- Fluency with general HR issues a plus

THE PAYOFF
This is a unique opportunity to join a highly regarded organization that is driving growth and creating jobs in the Greater Cincinnati region. The target base salary range is $80,000 – $90,000 plus bonus potential and a competitive benefits package including a 401k retirement plan match.
