The Director of Regional Distribution and Logistics is a newly created role that will be instrumental in the ongoing design of and implementing systems throughout ISCO’s distribution, logistics and transportation functions throughout their multiple locations across North America.  This role is the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all warehouse operations. This is a key role in creating and implementing plans and procedures to improve operational efficiency and achieve organizational goals.

Distribution, Warehousing and Logistics Strategy

  • Responsible for developing, updating, and applying a standardized distribution, warehousing, and transportation model to be integrated across all distribution centers including capacity modeling and optimization, safety stock optimization, transportation planning and optimization, and business continuity planning.
  • Creates logistics strategy and leads the implementation.
  • Develops and executes a comprehensive short and long-term strategy for all DC(s) leveraging goals and initiatives from the enterprise and overall supply chain BU to balance an enterprise mindset and local strengths and opportunities.
  • Ensures all required processes and procedures are in place to support best in class distribution center operations enabling a positive customer delivery experience.
  • Develops and maintains SOPs to include full end to end fulfillment process, documentation needed for delivery of goods, cadence of communication with internal /external stakeholders as to status of all shipments.
  • Facilitates the improvement and alignment of distribution practices across locations.
  • Works with process owners and subject matter experts to define, build, test, and provide training on systemic solutions for various warehouse processes.
  • Drives effective balance on service levels and cost to serve in logistics, warehousing, and transportation – ensuring margin and desired service levels are maintained.

 Process Optimization

  • Works with process owners and SME’s to define, build, test, and provide training on systemic solutions for various warehouse processes.
  • Drives operational improvements to achieve business goals as well as streamline processes and maximize operational performance to enable long-term growth.
  • Continuously assesses and improves operational processes, systems, and performance metrics to maximize efficiency and profitability.

Organizational Leadership

  • Develops a data driven decision making environment. Understands and analyzes the financial impact of proposed distribution changes, capacity, automation, layout, etc.
  • Provides technical leadership in complex projects or processes that have a wide impact on the business.
  • Leverages thought partners (HRBP, corporate partners, peers, team, etc.) as needed to create and revisit the strategy.
  • Actively participates in the creation and implementation of strategic leadership initiatives.
  • Collaborates with corporate and warehouse leadership on overall management of the distribution network.
  • This role will need to ensure excellence with tactical operations for all distribution activities across the network, while also ensuring the long-term strategy is established and ultimately achieved.



  • Demonstrated competency with core warehouse and fulfillment systems and processes (WMS, ERP and TMS).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage costs leveraging industry expertise, data, and lean processes.
  • Experience setting and establishing data analytics to measure, track and develop KPI’s with a bias towards action and urgency. Reinforcing processes to get the team moving in the same direction.
  • Experience transforming an organization into a high-performance team that is recognized as a collaborative business partner who provides solutions to their customers to be successful.
  • Proven success at managing through influence throughout a robust organization
  • Bachelor’s degree required with a preference toward Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, Analytics or Business.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%
