Michele Plessinger
Michele Plessinger joined Gilman Partners in 2004 and became a Partner in 2018. She specializes in executive searches for C-suite and senior leadership roles across the nonprofit, professional services, and manufacturing sectors, with an emphasis on accounting and finance, human resources, and CEO and Executive Director searches.
With more than 25 years of experience in human resources, executive search, and talent strategy, Michele is recognized for helping organizations identify and recruit transformational leaders. She co-led the development and growth of the firm’s nonprofit executive search practice and has partnered with boards and executive teams to lead leadership transitions for mission-driven organizations, privately held companies, and professional services firms.
Michele has also championed the firm’s use of behavioral assessment tools, particularly the Predictive Index, helping integrate data-driven insights into the executive search process to support informed hiring decisions and identify candidates with strong long-term potential.
Before joining Gilman Partners, Michele held human resources leadership roles with General Motors, Health Management Systems, Cambridge Technology Partners, and Deloitte. At Deloitte, she served as a Human Resources Business Partner, leading HR initiatives and recruiting efforts for consulting, finance, and accounting professionals while developing deep expertise in talent acquisition and organizational leadership.
Michele earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources from Penn State University. She is also a graduate of Leadership Cincinnati, Class 47. She is a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Cincinnati Works, reflecting her ongoing commitment to strengthening organizations and the communities they serve.
