WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Reporting to the Senior Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will serve as a trusted advisor to production site leadership, helping align human resources strategies with business goals and operational priorities. This individual will provide guidance on workplace planning, employee relations, performance management, organizational development, and compliance while fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.
The HRBP will work closely with leaders and employees across the site to deliver HR programs and initiatives that support organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and business performance. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking, sound judgement, and hands-on execution. Specifically, responsibilities of the role will include:
Strategic HR Partnership
- Partner with site leadership to understand business objectives and develop people strategies that support operational success
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations regarding workforce planning, organizational structure, and talent optimization
- Serve as a strategic advisor on change management initiatives, communication planning, and team effectiveness
- Build strong relationships with leaders and employees to support business goals and organizational growth
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Serve as the primary HR resource for employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, coaching, and corrective action
- Ensure consistent interpretation and application of company policies and procedures
- Conduct timely and thorough investigations while balancing business needs, fairness, and organizational risk
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate documentation and support legal compliance across all HR processes
Performance Management & Talent Development
- Guide leaders through performance management processes, including goal setting, coaching, evaluations, and development planning
- Identify talent gaps and collaborate with leadership to develop effective training and development solutions
- Support leadership development and employee growth initiatives
- Assist in building organizational capabilities that support current and future business needs
HR Operations & Program Support
- Partner with members of the HR team to deliver consistent and effective HR services
- Support and lead key HR initiatives in collaboration with the Senior Director of Human Resources
- Work closely with recruiting partners to support hiring strategies and ensure a positive candidate and employee experience
- Lead onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle activities for the assigned location
- Assist with implementation and continuous improvement of HR programs, policies, and processes
Culture & Employee Engagement
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work environment
- Support employee engagement initiatives and action plans designed to strengthen culture and retention
- Serve as a culture ambassador by modeling organizational values and building trust across the workforce
- Promote open communication and positive employee experiences throughout the organization
Data & Analytics
- Utilize HR metrics and analytics to identify trends, diagnose challenges, and recommend solutions
- Prepare reports, presentations, and workforce insights to support business decision-making
- Monitor key HR performance indicators and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
IDEAL CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of progressive human resources experience, including employee relations and HR business partnership responsibilities
- Experience supporting operations within manufacturing, production, distribution, warehouse, or similar environments
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, Title VII, and related compliance requirements
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships, influence leaders, and navigate complex employee situations with professionalism and discretion
- Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
- Experience utilizing HRIS platforms and workforce analytics tools
Preferred Qualifications
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification
- Human resources experience within healthcare, pharmacy, or other highly regulated industries
- Experience supporting organizational change initiatives and leadership development programs
