ISCO is a family owned and operated company born and raised in Louisville, KY that is focused on our team members’ growth. ISCO has grown into a global piping solutions provider with more than 30 facilities across the United States and Canada. They have developed and honed custom fabrication and spooling ability. Their fabricators have decades of experience making HDPE structures such as manholes, tanks, fittings, geothermal vaults, and more. ISCO also makes sure every project has the right equipment by selling and renting tools and fusion equipment. They’re proud to serve a long and growing list of markets including municipal, waterworks, landfill, marine, golf, geothermal, industrial, energy, EPC, and more.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (JOB SUMMARY)

Overall responsibility of improving ISCO operations, including safety, quality, on-time delivery, and productivity via continuous improvement activities to drive a best in-class operation with five primary responsibilities:

  • Partner with production staff and leaders to standardize and document processes based on organizational best practices.
  • Research, develop, document, and implement best in-class processes by combining personal ingenuity with organizational wisdom and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with safety team and operators to develop and implement processes that continuously reduce manufacturing risks.
  • Collaborate with quality team and operators to develop and implement processes that reduce challenges of achieving manufacturing specifications.
  • Take complete ownership over projects from concept to full implementation while fully collaborating with each subject matter expert’s roles in responsibilities across the operations team.

 

IDEAL CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 1-3 years’ experience in product manufacturing environment
  • Associates degree in engineering with 2-5 years’ experience in product manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of ISO 9001:2015 Quality principles
  • Proficient knowledge and business use of Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Power Point, Word and Excel.
  • Proficiency and experience with CAD software
  • Proficiency and experience with ERP systems.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Required or Black Belt Preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification Preferred
  • Must have strong communication skills both verbal and written
