Gilman Partners Names New Partner

Gilman Partners recently welcomed a new partner to its leadership team. Angel Beets joined GP in 2018 as the Director of Marketing & Education after working with the organization for nearly three years as a marketing contractor. As a Partner she will continue to oversee all marketing and education initiatives for the firm and will assume a new role as Program Director of GP Elevate, a leadership development program uniquely designed to prepare high-potential leaders for executive management.

Angel previously worked for public relations firms in Indianapolis, Chicago and the Greater Cincinnati area and was the Communication Manager for the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation, where she worked to promote educational opportunities and scholarships within the restaurant industry. Passionate about education and lifelong learning, Angel served as Professor of Communication and Program Chair at Ivy Tech Community College in Indiana for a decade and has taught a wide range of communication courses at Indiana University East, Northern Kentucky University, The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and Sinclair Community College. She has led CliftonStrengths (formerly StrengthsFinder) training sessions for faculty, staff, and students as well as for local businesses and leaders.

Angel received a bachelor’s degree in Communication and Journalism/Public Relations from Ball State University and a master’s in Interpersonal Communication from The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is an active member of Impact 100 and serves on the Northern Kentucky Advisory Board of 4C for Children. Angel is a graduate of Leadership Northern Kentucky and is proud to serve as president of the class of 2018. She is a member of the LNK Steering Committee and serves as the program’s strengths trainer.
