Gilman Partners, the Greater Cincinnati area’s largest executive search firm, recently made an acquisition that will expand its service offerings and help it impact more organizations and leaders across the region. Gilman Partners purchased the Senior Leadership Development Program from local talent consulting firm NVR, a leadership development program strategically designed to prepare high-potential leaders for executive management.

Gilman Partners will rebrand the leadership development program GP Elevate and will assume full responsibility for the program when the next cohort begins in April 2020. Cohorts meet one full day a month for six months and will be limited to 12 participants to maximize the effectiveness of team-based activities and breakout discussions. Program facilitators are subject matter experts who share their expertise and best practices.

“Among the many factors that drew us to the NVR program is that it imbeds concrete skills like talent attraction/development, strategic planning, and financial competence into the curriculum,” said Tom Gilman, Gilman Partners’ CEO and Managing Partner. “Combined with broader skills like EQ and executive communication, we’re confident the program provides leaders with the critical skills they need as they ascend into executive management. GP Elevate fits directly with our mission of working to strengthen leadership team and improve the talent in our communities and we’re excited for the opportunity to have an even greater impact on local leaders and organizations in the coming years.

NVR founders Fran Nunan and Jeff Rowe shared the following statement regarding the sale of the program to Gilman Partners.

“We are genuinely pleased that Gilman Partners has made a decision to purchase the Senior Leadership Development Program, which has been the cornerstone of our practice at NVR during recent years. Gilman Partners is well known within the region for their extensive and highly effective work to strengthen and develop professional leadership teams, and we view their taking over stewardship of this program as a great opportunity for them to expand upon those efforts. We look forward to working with the entire team at Gilman Partners to ensure a smooth transition with the program and are excited about their commitment to enhance and grow its impact on our thriving, regional business communities.”
