WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
In this role, you will work with lead engineers and design specialists as part of project-specific teams. Team size varies depending on project size and complexity. You will be trained to plan and conduct all aspects of the design process using DEG standards. You will be joining an established team to serve customers in a broad variety of industries and facility types, and will leverage existing technical knowledge of electrical engineering, code, and best practices.
IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- BS in Electrical or Architectural Engineering required
- Licensed PE or Passed FE exam and on track to obtain a PE
- AutoCAD and Revit experience
- Experience designing electrical systems associated with industrial motor applications such as pumps, fans, conveyors, etc.
- Experience working with other trades including mechanical, process, architectural, and structural
- Understanding what it takes to put a design package together
- Schematic design, load calculations, 30%, 60%, 90% design
- Experience supporting and training entry level engineers
- Experience with Division 26, 27 & 28 specifications
- Worked in the consulting engineering and construction field
- Project design and installation in industrial facilities
- Knowledge of international/federal/state/local codes
- Food and beverage plant experience
- Design experience in central plants including chilled water, steam, and compressed air systems
- Eligible to work in the US without the need for current or future sponsorship
