ABOUT THE COMPANY

RH Aero Systems (RH Aero) newly re-branded in April of 2024 when Rhinestahl Corporation acquired HYDRO Systems KG. With more than a century of combined industry experience, RH Aero will set the new standard in comprehensive life cycle solutions, and this covers engine and airframe tooling, ground support equipment and innovative engineered products and services along with asset management and sustainment. Further, through an extensive local services presence including strong onsite technical expertise and assistance, RH Aero will reshape capability and support expectations for OEMs, MROs, and Operators worldwide. The organization is a privately held company with headquarters in Mason, Ohio, and multiple facilities worldwide.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (JOB SUMMARY)

A successful candidate for RH Aero’s business will report and be a key partner to the President in delivering business results and the development and execution of the enterprise strategy. The CFO will lead the company’s Finance, HR, and IT functions ensuring strong support is delivered to the company’s operating teams globally. The CFO should have the ability to transform and develop a global team in a growth environment while keeping a focus on achieving desired business results and objectives. They will manage the company’s financial reporting and internal controls with a broad responsibility for financial analysis, risk management, tax, treasury, accounting, and business planning activities. The candidate should lead a continuous improvement culture through thought leadership and demonstration of the company’s core values of passion, integrity, and collaboration.

The CFO will be a change agent and mentor representing the management team within the organization and externally. Leading a substantial global finance, accounting, HR, and IT team, the CFO will:

  • Develop short- and long-term financial strategies that align with the organization’s business goals and ensure their achievement.
  • Manage capital structure and funding strategies, including debt and equity financing in support of growth plans.
  • Manage risks associated with liquidity, capital allocation, insurance, resource deployment, IT, HR, finance, taxes, and compliance globally while staying aligned with the company’s vision.
  • Transform through technology, continuous improvement, reporting, business intelligence, market, and industry trends.
  • Monitor financial performance and analyze operational and financial data to provide strategic recommendations to the President and senior management.
  • Review product pricing to ensure discipline and consistency throughout the company. S/he provides cost analysis and product line segment profitability.
  • Support preparation and participating in board meetings quarterly.

 

IDEAL CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of CFO experience with a track record of broad responsibilities and demonstrated financial, operations, and management expertise working with global teams and leaders
  • Experience as a global finance leader who can work cross-culturally
  • Bachelor’s Degree required and MBA preferred
  • CPA or CMA a plus but not required
  • Aviation industry experience preferred but not required
  • Demonstrated experience in transformational business improvement using data analysis and the implementation of technology and lean principles.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a performance-driven culture.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to communicate concisely to all levels within the organization

This role will work out of the corporate office in Mason, Ohio with up to 30% domestic and international travel to company facilities. This is an in-office role.
