WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Reporting to the CFO, the Financial Analyst will utilize their finance background to:

  • Understand and analyze business results to support the leadership team and other stakeholder’s requests for financial information including:
    • explain financial results in a business context (provide the story behind the numbers)
    • understand the operational concerns of working in a regulated environment
    • recommend present actions that will augment future financial results
    • recognize and communicate opportunities for improvement
  • Assist with review and development of customer proposals and contracts to include forecasting, pricing analytics, profitability analysis, bundled pricing support, etc.
  • Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and KPI reporting
  • Create and maintain various spreadsheets and dashboards for monthly financial and KPI reporting to private equity sponsor
  • Assist with the preparation of quarterly board reporting
  • Gather information on competitors, and conduct analysis on their sales, prices and marketing to analyze potential market and product gaps and pricing strategies across the company’s existing product and service lines.

 

IDEAL CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • MBA helpful but not mandatory
  • 2+ years of financial analysis experience
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (pivots & lookups) and MS PowerPoint
  • Must be results oriented, innovative, adaptable, strong attention to detail and capable of working independently
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build working relationships with all levels of management and stakeholders

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS

This role is based in Northern Kentucky / Cincinnati and will require the candidate to reside locally.  At this time, the role will be in the office daily.
