WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:  

The Packaging Systems Engineer will be passionate about designing Packaging Systems. This person will be conducting the hands-on design of the systems that package various products (vs. designing packaging for products).  You will be joining one of the fastest growing divisions of Jedson’s business and working with several of the top companies in the industry.

 

YOUR IDEAL BACKGROUND:

  • S. in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in the food and/or beverage industries, preferred.
  • Background in packaging design and delivery of projects in the food and/or beverage industries, preferred.
  • Machine Design Background, preferred.

Understanding of feeding/starving and runout of pieces of equipment, and where/when to put in accumulation. Material flows/people flow etc.

  • AutoCAD (2D, 3D CAD experience Inventor, SolidWorks, Solid Edge, NX).
  • Understanding of multi-discipline (electrical, process, PC&IS knowledge, not to design it)
  • Ensure value is provided to the client and develop & earn client trust.
  • A desire to grow, learn quickly and work on multiple projects for multiple customers.
  • Great customer relationship skills/management experience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in teams.
  • Leadership experience – teams, customers, projects.
  • Preferably on-site, in plant, and startup experience.
