ARC Abrasives is a family-owned business located in Troy, Ohio. The organization focuses on innovating and delivering quality abrasive products. The company was founded in 1960 and has since vertically integrated, built an ever-evolving product line, and become one of the nation’s largest abrasive converters.

 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Quality Engineer will lead the company’s quality efforts, w/ inspection methods, product standards, process audits, and quality management system to ensure the production of safe and high-quality products.

 

IDEAL CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) or equivalent in related field.
  • Four to six years related experience or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control methods & ISO 9001 requirements.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient with measurement, calibration, and test equipment
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
  • Creative, flexible, and innovative team player.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
