WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
The Quality Manager will lead OMNI’s quality assurance and environmental, health, and safety (EHS) functions. This role focuses on developing a strong team, implementing robust systems, and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015 while driving continuous improvement across the organization.
Leadership & Team Development
- Build and lead a high-performing Quality Assurance team through recruiting, coaching, and aligning roles with OMNI’s growth objectives
- Set clear goals and performance expectations, providing coaching, training, and accountability to maximize success
- Create an environment of collaboration, adaptability, and innovation within the team and across departments
Quality Management & ISO Oversight
- Lead the administration and execution of OMNI’s ISO 9001:2015 program, including internal and external audits
- Develop and implement quality management systems that ensure product and process excellence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product design, engineering methods, and training approaches to support quality standards
Continuous Improvement & Customer Focus
- Analyze operational data to identify improvement opportunities in products and processes
- Implement strategies that drive customer satisfaction and operational excellence
- Partner with clients and stakeholders to resolve product challenges and strengthen relationships
Environmental Health & Safety (EHS)
- Develop, implement, and oversee EHS policies, procedures, and programs to ensure a safe workplace. Omni has a strong safety record that just needs to be overseen.
- Act as the corporate sponsor for the employee-led Safety Committee and liaison with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory agencies. This is minimal commitment.
- Deliver short, already created safety and emergency training to employees, reinforcing a culture of accountability and awareness
Operational Excellence
- Establish and monitor quality standards, testing, and evaluation processes throughout the supply chain
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company-specific standards
- Develop tracking and reporting systems for quality awareness programs, initiatives, and results
IDEAL CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 5 years of quality assurance/engineering experience.
- Experience with ISO 9001:2015 or another standards certification program
- Minimum 2 years leadership experience
