WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
The Sales Specialist will play a key role in delivering an exceptional buying experience for customers while driving company revenue growth. This individual will receive comprehensive training to excel in various responsibilities, including identifying optimal solutions for customers, communicating the company’s value, processing quotes and orders, handling inquiries, and utilizing the CRM to manage and create customer data for enhanced service. A strong ability to understand complex technical details and analyze data to meet customer needs is essential. This role supports the company’s Purpose, Vision, Mission, Values, and Metrics. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Optimize Quote-to-Order Conversion – Serve as a knowledgeable consultant to drive sales.
- Provide Technical Solutions – Assist customers with accurate technical recommendations, ensuring warranty return goals, prompt communication, and precise pricing.
- Manage CRM Data – Enter, navigate, and extract data (Microsoft Dynamics experience is a plus).
- Process Quotes and Orders in SAP – Ensure accuracy and efficiency in data entry.
- Communicate Professionally – Act as the primary point of contact for regional customers via phone, email, and chat.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite – Leverage tools to support daily operations.
- Apply Training Knowledge – Use onboarding and ongoing training to address customer inquiries, quotes, and delivery details effectively.
- Travel Occasionally – Visit customers to support their development and strengthen relationships.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Sales or Customer Service Experience
- AA/AAS in Technical Discipline would be a plus
- CRM and ERP experience is a plus
